Preventive Maintenance Program

Catch Failures Before They Cost You Uptime.

Schedule recurring on-site visits online. Every visit produces a documented checklist with photos of what we found — so when something needs attention, you have the evidence to justify the budget. And when nothing’s wrong, you have proof of that too.

Why Maintenance

A Hydraulic Failure on a Tuesday Morning Costs More Than a Year of Maintenance.

Compactors, balers, presses, and dock levelers don’t fail without warning. Hose covers crack. Seals weep. Filters clog. Fluid darkens. We catch all of it — on a schedule that fits your operation — before it becomes downtime.

A 30-minute visit twice a year prevents the 6-hour emergency at 7 AM on a Monday.

What’s Checked

The PM Visit Checklist.

Every preventive maintenance visit follows the same documented checklist. Items vary slightly by equipment type, but the principle is constant: every component checked, every finding photographed, every recommendation in writing.

Hydraulic Fluid & Reservoir

Fluid level and clarity inspection
Reservoir vent / breather check
Sight glass and contamination indicators
Fluid sample for visual assessment (lab analysis available on request)
Reservoir sealing and external leaks
Cooling system / heat exchanger inspection

Filtration

Suction strainer / filter condition
Pressure / return-line filter status
Differential-pressure indicator readings
Filter element replacement (as scheduled)

Hoses, Fittings & Tubing

Hose cover for cracks, abrasion, kinks, blistering
Fitting and adapter weeps / seepage
Hose age check (date codes recorded)
Routing — rub points, sharp bends, support clamps
Tube fittings re-torque check
Hose replacement recommendations with photos

Cylinders, Pumps, Motors & Valves

Cylinder rod for scoring, plating wear, bent rod
Gland and barrel external leakage
Pump and motor housing leaks / unusual noise / heat
Mounting hardware torque inspection
Valve body external leakage and solenoid function
Pressure-gauge cross-check at test points

System & Safety

Operating pressure verification
Cycle time check vs. baseline
E-stop and safety circuit operation
Photoeye / proximity sensor function (compactor / baler)
Guard and access door interlocks
Visible electrical connections at the hydraulic system

Kidney Loop Oil Filtration

Parker filter-cart rental · clean your oil, save the reservoir

Rental Service

Clean the oil — keep the system.

Hydraulic oil is one of the largest line items in a maintenance budget. Replacing a large reservoir means buying new oil and paying to dispose of the used oil. A kidney-loop filter cart cleans the oil you already have to a fraction of that combined cost.

How It Works

A kidney loop is a side-stream polishing circuit, plumbed independently of your working hydraulic system. The cart’s own pump draws oil from a low point of the reservoir, pushes it through two high-capacity filter elements in series, and returns clean oil back to the tank. Because the loop runs alongside production — or while equipment is idle — every gallon in the reservoir is filtered many times over the rental period, driving particle counts steadily down to target cleanliness.

What’s Included in the Rental

How to Use It

Why Filter Instead of Replace?

Important — this is not a chemical fix.

Kidney-loop filtration removes particulates and, with the right element, water — it does not reverse chemical breakdown. If the oil is already oxidized, acidic, or its additive package has been depleted, no amount of filtering will restore it. Before you commit to a rental, ask us about a quick oil-sample analysis. We can tell you whether the oil is a good candidate for cleaning, or whether replacement is the right call.
