Privacy Statement

Effective [May 15, 2026] · Last updated [August 8, 2026]

The short version

We do not sell your information. We do not rent it, trade it, or supply it to anyone for their own use. There is no exception to this and no version of our business where it becomes profitable enough to reconsider.

We collect what we need to quote your work, complete it, and reach you about it. We use text, phone, and email to keep you informed about your purchases and repairs. That’s the whole arrangement.

Who this covers

This statement applies to [ttweberhydraulic.com and any other site we operate], and to the information we collect when you contact us, request a quote, or have work done at our shop or in the field.

We’re a hydraulic sales and service company. Most of the information we hold exists because someone asked us to fix, build, or supply something.

What we collect

Information you give us

When you fill out our contact or quote request form, call us, email us, or bring in work, we collect what you provide — typically:

  • Your name and company name
  • Phone number, email address, and service or billing address
  • Details about the equipment, the problem, or the parts you need
  • Purchase, repair, and payment records tied to your account

You decide what to tell us. If you’d rather leave a field blank, leave it blank — we’ll ask if we need it to quote the job accurately.

Information collected automatically on our website

Like most websites, ours records basic technical information when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, time on page, and the site or search that referred you. We use this to understand which pages are useful and whether our advertising is working.

How we use it

  • To prepare quotes and answer your questions
  • To perform the repair, build, or order you asked for
  • To keep you informed on status, parts availability, completion, pickup, and delivery
  • To invoice you and process payment
  • To maintain service history, so the next repair starts with what we already know about your equipment
  • To meet our own recordkeeping, tax, warranty, and certified payroll obligations
  • To measure how our website and advertising perform

We do not use your information to build profiles for anyone else, and we don’t feed it into marketing lists.

How we contact you: text, voice, and email

We use all three, and we use them for one reason — to tell you what’s happening with your purchase or repair. Job received, quote ready, parts on order, work complete, ready for pickup, invoice sent. Service and transaction messages, not sales.

If that ever changes

If we decide to send promotional offers, product announcements, or marketing messages, we will ask you first. You’ll get a clear opt-in request, and nothing promotional goes out to you unless you say yes. Saying no changes nothing about the service you receive.

Text messaging

When you give us your mobile number, you agree we may text you about your work in progress. Message frequency varies by job. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts, or HELP for assistance. You can also just tell us — call the shop and we’ll switch you to phone or email.

We do not share mobile phone numbers or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile numbers are shared only with the service providers that deliver our messages, and only for that purpose.

Phone and email

Tell us your preferred method and we’ll use it. To stop service emails or calls, reply to any message or call us at [shop phone]. Note that we may still need to reach you about an active job, a safety issue, a warranty matter, or an unpaid invoice.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

Our website uses two Google tools:

  • Google Analytics — shows us how many people visit, which pages they read, and where they came from. We look at this as aggregate traffic, not as individuals.
  • Google Ads conversion tracking — tells us when someone who clicked one of our ads went on to submit a form or call us, so we know which ads are worth paying for.

Both rely on cookies — small files stored by your browser. Google may use this data according to its own policies. You can review those at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

If you’d rather not be measured: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, install Google’s Analytics Opt-out Add-on, or adjust ad personalization at myadcenter.google.com. Our site works fine either way. We honor browser “Do Not Track” and Global Privacy Control signals where our tools support them.

Who else sees your information

Only the companies that help us run the business, and only for the task at hand. That includes our website host, email and text messaging providers, accounting and payment processors, and — when a job requires it — the supplier or outside machine shop handling part of your work.

These providers may only use your information to perform that service for us. They may not use it for their own marketing, and they may not resell it.

Beyond that, we release information only when the law requires it — a subpoena, court order, or lawful government request — or when it’s necessary to protect someone’s safety or enforce an unpaid account.

If our business is ever sold or merged, customer records may transfer to the new owner as part of the business. This statement would continue to apply to that information, and we’d tell you before anything changed.

How long we keep it

Quote requests that don’t turn into work: [e.g., two years]. Customer and job records: as long as you’re a customer, plus the period our tax, warranty, and legal obligations require — typically seven years. Equipment service history we may keep longer, because it’s genuinely useful the next time that cylinder comes across the bench.

How we protect it

We limit access to customer records to the people who need them to do their jobs. Our systems are password-protected, our website uses encrypted connections, and we keep a written information security program as Massachusetts law requires of businesses holding personal information.

No system is perfect, and we won’t pretend otherwise. If a breach ever affected your personal information, we would notify you and the appropriate state authorities as required by law.

Your choices

Regardless of where you live, you can ask us to:

  • Tell you what information we hold about you
  • Correct anything that’s wrong
  • Delete information we’re not required to keep
  • Stop contacting you by a particular method, or entirely

Email [ejb@ttweberhydraulic.com] or call [978-368-3325]. We’ll respond within 30 days. We may need to verify who you are before releasing or deleting records — that protection works in your favor.

Children

Our website and services are meant for businesses and adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If we learn that we have, we’ll delete it.

Links to other sites

We link to manufacturer sites, product documentation, and technical resources. Once you follow a link off our site, that company’s privacy practices apply, not ours. We’d suggest reading them.

Changes to this statement

If we change how we handle your information, we’ll update this page and change the date at the top. If a change is significant — particularly anything touching how we contact you — we’ll tell you directly rather than expecting you to notice.
